As funny as it is epic, John Mulaney’s Saturday Night Live lavish musical about analyzing the health-risk limits of corner store bodega items returned this week with “Airport Sushi” – A journey into what happens when you order the pre-made sushi at Laguardi Airport.

While the song and dance number is hilarious, the arc de triumph is when David Byrne joins Jake Gyllanhal, Mulaney, and the cast of SNL onstage for “We’re On a Plane To Nowhere”

Footnote: My friend Brad not only prefers Laguardia airport to JFK, but he has also tried the airport sushi there. He says it’s “fine.”
